At Skin Perfect, we use Xtreme Lashes Semi-Permanent Eyelash Extensions. These lashes are single strands of synthetic lashes that applied one by one to your own natural lashes. Each synthetic lash is tapered at the tip with a thick base curled to replicate the natural lash. Skin Perfect trained lash stylists meticulously and delicately attach one lash extension to one natural lash at a time. Each receives approximately 60 to 120 lashes per eye. The procedure typically takes anywhere from 1-2 hours, depending on the desired look of the client. Our clients are always comfortable reclined in our spa chairs and have their eyes closed. We protect the lower lashes with adhesive tape to prevent any glue adhering to the bottom lashes. During the procedure, Skin Perfect lash stylist will isolate one natural lash and attach one Xtreme Lashes lash extension to the isolated hair about 1mm from the eyelid so that none of the eyelash extensions actually touch the skin or stick to each other. The adhesive used is Xtreme Lashes High Performance adhesive. It is considered the safest and the longest-lasting line of adhesives developed specifically for the Xtreme Lashes Eyelash Extension Procedure. The primary ingredient in our Xtreme Lashes adhesives is the same substance used for suture-less wound closure (closing wounds without the use of stitches). The results are amazing! The lashes look natural, full, and thick. Clients typically fall asleep and wake up with gorgeous lashes! Skin Perfect lash stylists are certified through Xtreme lashes Master Stylist training. At Skin Perfect we are trained to design and “style” lashes to suit the needs of the client. Our first step is a consultation with our client to determine the client’s eye shape, condition of natural lashes, facial features, skin tone, and the lifestyle and preference of the client. The Skin Perfect lash stylist will then select the appropriate lengths, curvatures, thickness, and colors to customize the unique, individual look for the client. Skin Perfect can create a subtle enhancement for the client or a high impact lash look. The lash look lasts indefinitely with 45 minute refills every 2-3 weeks. Just like your hair on your head, natural lashes grow and shed in a cycle, which is typically about 60 days. When a natural lash matures and falls our, a new lash has already been growing and quickly replaces it. People typically shed between 1 and 5 natural lashes each day, depending on their individual growth cycles. The lash extensions normally fall off with the natural lash. Therefore refills are necessary to replenish the fallen hairs and maintain the look. |
