How does the Dry Heat work with the body and what is the process?

Dry heat is delivered to the body through 2 distinct process:
  • Conduction - direct contact of heat to skin
  • Convection - use of air currents

The body then mimics the environmental heat that surrounds it, leading to an increase in thermal temperatures.

  • Aromatherapy wrap ( 1x per wk for 4-6 wks)  30 min.
  • Skin Repair : Essential oils are transdermal meaning they have unique ability to pass through the different layers of skin where they are then circulated through the bloodstream.
  • Mud/Clay Body Mask (1x per wk for 4-6 wks)  30 min.
Slimming/Detoxifying/Skin Repair : Muds contain minerals such as Calcium, Magnesium, and Potassium for nourishing skin.
  • Thalassotherapy/Seaweed Wrap  (1x per wk for 4-6 wks)  30 min.
  • Slimming/Detoxifying/Skin Repair, Eliminates toxins and increases exchange in the skin of minerals, trace-enzymes, amino acids, vitamins, proteins, and plant hormones contained in seaweed.
  • Paraffin Body Wrap (1x per month)  30 min. Excellent for dehydrated skin.  Treatment will cause body to to perspire, trapping moisture between hardened wax and body where it is then absorbed into the skin.
